| The
Lions Club of Phuket Pearl was established in 1991 under
the name of Lioness International of Phuket Andaman Sea. The Charter
President was Lioness Adrienne Tusoni. The Club was formed with one
objective in mind and that was to serve the Phuket community as
a whole. A year later, the club changed to be a full fledged
Lions Club. On August 24,1992, the Lions Club of
Phuket Pearl under the sponsorship of the Lions Club of Phuket,
led by Lion Uthai Suksirisampan, received the official Club
Charter and from then on, club leaders and members committed
their time and energy to build the reputation and recognition
received through worthwhile projects and activities for the
community and beyond our border.

Club has since twinned with two international Clubs and Goodwill
visits with 3 clubs to
serve the objective of unity at no boundary. These Clubs are the:
• The Lions Club of
Tanjung, Penang,
• The Lions Club of Damansara, Kuala
Lumpur(formerly Kepong Lions )
• The Lions Club of Penang Light, Malaysia
• The Lions Club Of Lujbjana,Slovenia , Port Blair & Bay
