Since the 26th of December 2004 when the Tsunami raked six southern provinces of Thailand we have focused all our attention to provide immediate relief to the victims of this terrible tragedy. We strive to provide a safe and loving family environment for children orphaned by the Tsunami and who are no longer able to live with their natural parent in a stable environment. Thailand has over 700 registered orphans who lost one or both parents in the Tsunami. Our thoughts are with all the victims and their family members!

Next to providing immediate emergency assistance right after the first phase of instant emergency relief,
the Lions Club of Phuket Pearl has developed a plan to set up The Orphan Children's Village of Thailand.
